Overview

What was built

Designed and implemented a distributed token service using Spring Boot and Redis to centralize token generation, caching, renewal, and invalidation. Requests first check the shared cache and reuse valid tokens when available; cache misses trigger a controlled downstream authentication flow before storing the result with an appropriate TTL. The stateless service can run across multiple instances while Redis provides a shared token state, reducing redundant authentication traffic and improving response time and resilience.
