DXL Integration Layer
A reusable enterprise integration layer that standardizes how application services communicate with downstream telecom and core systems. Built to centralize client creation, configuration, resilience, and error handling while reducing coupling and duplicated integration logic.

- Spring Boot
- REST APIs
Overview
What was built
Designed and implemented a middleware layer using Java and Spring Boot that provides a single abstraction for multiple downstream integrations. A centralized client factory creates preconfigured service clients with shared configuration, timeouts, retry policies, and error handling, while keeping service-specific behavior isolated. This made integrations easier to extend and maintain without repeating connection logic across consuming services.
