Application services expose operational metrics for Prometheus collection and emit structured logs through Winston. Vector sidecars collect and forward application logs while telemetry is retained centrally outside individual workloads. Grafana provides a shared operational view across services, allowing engineers to investigate health, performance, and failures without relying on pod-by-pod inspection.

What was built

Designed and implemented a centralized observability stack for containerized services, combining application metrics, structured logging, centralized storage, and operational dashboards. Services expose metrics for Prometheus collection while application logs are structured with Winston and shipped through Vector. VictoriaMetrics provides centralized time-series storage, with Grafana dashboards giving teams a consistent view of service health, performance, and production behavior.
